Whilst basking on the success of her latest release Crew, Kareena Kapoor Khan is gearing up for her upcoming release Singham Again. Now, the actress recently shed light on what kind of role she and Deepika Padukone will be seen in the much-awaited movie.

In a recent conversation with Variety at the UN House in Delhi, Kareena Kapoor Khan gave a sneak peek into her role in the much-awaited sequel. Singham Again’s cast majorly features male actors. From Ranveer Singh to Ajay Devgn, the film is described by the actress is a “completely male testosterone movie.”

However, Kareena Kapoor Khan emphasized the importance of the role played by her and Deepika Padukone. She expressed, “There’s Deepika and me in the film, where we have very strong parts. But obviously, it’ll be really different. It is the big-ticket Bollywood bonanza for this year, and I’m sure people will enjoy that.”

Previously, while addressing speculation about her featuring alongside her co-stars, Kareena tantalizingly hinted at the film’s core. She quipped, “I’m sure that’s part of the surprise of the film that you guys have to watch for! But yes, it’s a stellar cast. And I think there’s no one better than Rohit Shetty to bring us all together in one frame. And yes, it’s definitely going to happen.”

Nonetheless, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s excitement about her character in Singham Again is palpable. She shared, “The movie has emotion, action, and on top of that, I have a lovely role that’s a pivotal part of the film. Even if you look at big-ticket Hollywood films like Avengers, there’s always an emotional connection.

Singham Again has emotion that comes from my character. So, after doing Crew and the audience then seeing me in this movie, it will be a total 360-degree turn as an actor.”

Singham Again is the third part of the successful franchise. The highly-anticipated sequel will be released on August 15, 2024.
