Rashmika Mandanna is currently making headlines for her upcoming film Animal, along with Ranbir Kapoor. But according to the latest reports, after this much-awaited action thriller film, the rumoured couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are said to collaborate on the upcoming film Family Star.

It said that Rashmika would be seen playing a key role in the movie. The shooting of this film is currently going on in Delhi, according to the reports.

Family Star is directed by Parasuram. The movie marks the second collaboration between the actor and director after the superhit film Geetha Govindham. Family Star is said to be an Indian-romantic family drama movie produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, and Divyansha Kaushik in the lead roles.

The music for the movie is said to be composed by Gopi Sundar, with cinematography by KU Mohanan and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh.

Initially, Family Star was expected to be released theatrically on January 14, 2024, coinciding with Sankranti, but later it got postponed to February 2024. Reports suggest it will be released in Telugu and Tamil.

On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna’s starrer Animal is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film is co-written, edited and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced jointly by T-Series and Cine1 Studios. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles.

As per reports, the runtime of the film is said to be 3 hours and 21 minutes minutes. Animal is one of the longest Indian films ever made and is scheduled to be released on December 1.

However, apart from this, it has always been a mystery whether Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are dating each other. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor seems to have provided clarity to the duo’s fans by speaking about Rashmika’s relationship with Vijay. Ranbir and Rashmika are currently busy promoting their film in full swing. So, the duo recently appeared on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s show Unstoppable to promote their upcoming film, where the former teased Rashmika about her bond with the Liger actor.

In the show, Ranbir playfully asked Rashmika to choose between who she believes is a better actor- her reel hero (Ranbir) or her real hero (hinting at Vijay). When the actress refused to participate, NBK asked Sandeep to dial Vijay. Ranbir teased by saying, “Sir, let Rashmika call; Vijay won’t pick up his (Sandeep’s) call.”

For the unversed Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s dating rumours surfaced after the two were featured together in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam.
