It has only been three years since Rashmika Mandanna, the beautiful and talented actress of Kannada and Tamil films, entered Bollywood, but she has become a favorite of the Hindi film industry. Rashmika, who rose to fame overnight as Srivalli in ‘Pushpa’, was also appreciated in ‘Goodbye’ with Amitabh Bachchan. Rashmika, who has been awarded the Filmfare Award six times in the South, has also received the title of National Crush. Soon he will also be seen in ‘Animal’ and ‘Pushpa 2’. A conversation with him.

Recently there is a lot of discussion about your and Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Animal’, what would you like to say?
All I can say about ‘Animal’ is that it is a family drama. I don’t know how much I can tell about the film, but I can definitely say that you people will like the film very much. ‘Animal’ is a film where many complex characters will be seen together as a family, which becomes a story in itself. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, our director, is a master of content, so I am very excited about the film.

How did Ranbir Kapoor prove himself as an actor?

I think Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t need to prove anything. He has proved himself as an actor long ago. I feel very honored that I got the opportunity to work with him. Ranbir is a wonderful person and an equally good actor. One thing I love about him is that his craft reflects the entire industry. He is such an actor who is a treat to watch and work with.

After ‘Pushpa’, people are also waiting for ‘Pushpa 2’? Are you nervous? Because people’s expectations have increased a lot?
After ‘Pushpa One’, people are also waiting for ‘Pushpa 2’ and this is exciting me a lot. I am very happy for my entire team. The way our film has created records, it has given such a kick to all of us that we have been inspired to do great work. I have full hope that ‘Pushpa 2’ will increase the dose of madness and entertainment even more. There is a little bit of nervousness, but there is a lot of excitement. I am on the set day and night and I can promise that ‘Pushpa 2’ will be a blast.

What difference do you feel between South and Bollywood?

I don’t think there can be any appropriate answer to this. I have worked with different teams from different industries. These different teams belong to different industries, for me it is not South and Bollywood. There are great scripts that I want to choose from and I look forward to working with amazing people. It feels good when you work with different industries and they appreciate your work. But whenever you go into a new industry, you encounter new people. You have to work afresh. Have to prove yourself. I started my career with Kannada industry and then I joined Telugu industry. Now I am working in Bollywood also, so I have to go through the same process every time, so for me the difference between South and Bollywood is not the difference between the teams.

Why did Rashmika Mandanna say that she is married? Husband’s name also revealed in the interview

How does it feel when you are called a Pan India star?
At first I feel a little shy and then I understand that we are in that era where we all should be seen as an industry and not Bollywood, Tollywood or Sandwood. I think this is a good start to my career and I am happy that I am a part of reducing this discrimination, so what could be more happy for me than this?

You are very much liked among the paparazzi, do you never get angry with the cameras and people constantly following you?
One thing is clear in my mind that we all have come here to do our work and earn our livelihood. So be it paparazzi or us, everyone is doing their work. There is no point in getting tired of paps. Sometimes when you have a bad day, these paps capture you, then it becomes a bit difficult, but I like paparazzi. I like his presence. I respect him. We are all working, with this thought I face his camera. I generally inquire about their well being, ask them whether they have eaten or not? Those guys work hard and I can see it. I am worried about them and keep asking about them.

How do you handle trolls on social media?
To be honest, there are 3-4 different ways to handle them. Firstly you don’t look at them, secondly you ignore them, thirdly you laugh at them and move on and fourthly you start crying over them. But the thing to understand is that you do not have any kind of control over them. You also have no control over their reactions to you. They will say whatever they have to say, so you have to see it from your perspective. Sometimes because of them you go into a bubble and sometimes they affect you mentally a lot. Obviously, you don’t want to be influenced by these, because you have your own life too. You cannot sit by their words.

You are given the title of National Crush, who is your crush?
Oh, this is a very sweet thing, but I would like to keep my crush a secret.
