Rashmika Mandanna makes omelette using spinach and mushroom.

Eggs are among the most preferred breakfast options for many. Rich in protein, they help keep you full for longer, sustain energy levels and control blood sugars. If you are bored with eating eggs the same old way, we have a recipe that’s perfect for winter. Courtesy, Rashmika Mandanna.

Rashmika, in a video posted a few years back on Instagram, revealed a special recipe for spinach mushroom omelette. In the video, she revealed many of her friends were fond of the way she cooked omelettes. Several videos of food content creators trying the recipe are doing the rounds of the internet. Must we add, it is worth a try!

Instead of using the regular chopped onion and green chilli, Rashmika’s omelette preparation includes spinach and mushrooms with a flavour punch of teriyaki sauce. Sesame oil and ghee are also among the ingredients.

In a pan, add a bit of sesame oil. Add chopped spinach leaves and mushroom slices. Add a bit of teriyaki sauce for that added flavour, and cook for 2 minutes.

The next step is to beat three egg whites in a bowl. Heat a pan, spread some ghee on it and then pour the whisked egg. Add salt and red chilli powder. Now, spread the prepared spinach-mushroom evenly on the omelette. Cook for two minutes, and relish hot.

Now that was easy, right?
