Prabhas’ ‘Kalki 2898 AD’: Deepika Padukone’s character details revealed

Fans are getting excited as details about Deepika Padukone’s part in the much-awaited movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ have come out with increasing anticipation. The movie is no doubt one of the ambitious projects to come, with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in the key roles. The movie will be released on May 9, 2024.
In ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ Deepika Padukone will play Padma opposite Prabhas, according to reports from GetsCinema.
According to the Vedas, Padma is the wife of Prabhas’s portrayal of Lord Kalki. As per the Kalki Purana, Padma is the child of Kaumudi, the wife of King Brihadratha of Simhala, and is considered to be an incarnation of Lakshmi.
The film explores the world of mythology, with Kalki serving as Vishnu’s avatar during the last phase of the Kali Yuga. According to the legend regarding Kalki, his wife will be Padma, who will take all of Lakshmi’s celestial qualities. Interestingly, Deepika’s portrayal of Padma fits in with this traditional storyline, providing an insight into the mythological setting of the movie.
The final patches of the film seem to be in production right now, as it was earlier reported that on the Italian island of Sardinia, Prabhas and Disha Patani are said to be filming a romantic song for the film. It was also reported that Prabhas will soon be dubbing his parts of the film.
