Manushi Chhillar Lauds Rashmika Mandanna In Animal, Reacts To Rumours About Playing Preeti in Kabir Singh

Manushi Chhillar, an Indian model, beauty queen, and actress, was crowned Miss World 2017 in China. She rose to fame after becoming the sixth Indian woman to hold this title. Then, the diva stepped into the entertainment industry and made her big debut in the 2022 historical drama Samrat Prithviraj, alongside Akshay Kumar. The film failed to impress the audience. Despite receiving lukewarm receptions from both films, she took another project and ventured into the Telugu film industry with Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine.

Manushi Chhillar would love to play Rashmika’s character

Now, the actress was recently seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s actioner Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and Alaya F. In an exclusive interview with Rudrani Chattoraj, Manushi talked about how much she admires Sandeep Reddy Vanga and lauds Rashmika Mandanna’s character Geetanjali in Animal.

Reacting to rumours that she was approached to play a part in Animal. She chuckled and told Zoom, ‘I wish, I knew.’
Going forward, she quipped, ‘I love Sandeep Vanga Reddy. I would have loved to play Rashmika’s character in Animal. In that world where men were fighting each other, she really stood her ground and held him accountable. Her character had an arc, and I think, that was such a good opportunity. And, she performed. That’s a role, I would love to do.’

Manushi on getting approached for Kabir Singh

According to earlier reports, Manushi was also being considered to play Preeti in Sandeep’s Kabir Singh. Addressing them, she said, ‘I will semi-agree with this rumour because I came to know about this much later. I was Miss World that year and I was in contact with them. ‘
‘So, unfortunately, that didn’t materialise,’ she signs off.
