After her first deepfake video in a black dress caused massive uproar across the country, Tollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna has fallen victim to another instance of deepfake manipulation. In a viral video doing rounds on the internet, Rashmika is seen dancing obscenely.

Deepfake technology has become a curse for celebrities. Most of this new technology is being used for evil purposes. Celebrities are being targeted by viral deepfake videos on the internet. In particular, it is the photos of heroines that are being edited and portrayed in an indecent manner.

Rashmika Mandanna, alongside Bollywood actresses like Kajol and Katrina Kaif among others are the ones who are frequently targeted. Previous events have caused widespread anger and disapproval, leading to a united stand against deepfake technology. Notable personalities like Amitabh Bachchan have called for stringent action against the perpetrators.

Law enforcement authorities have taken action by apprehending suspects involved in creating and circulating fake videos. The Indian government has issued stern warnings and taken a zero-tolerance stance against individuals engaged in such vulgar practices.

Despite the measures taken by the government and security officials, fake celebrity videos continue to go viral. In case of Rashmika’s deepfake video, a face of a dancing young woman was edited, and Rashmika’s was added. Fans of Rashmika are urging others not to produce these kinds of videos.

On the professional front, Rashmika is working on a female-centric film and ‘Pushpa 2’ alongside Allu Arjun. The much-awaited sequel will hit the screens on August 15th this year.
