Ranveer Singh’s recent narration of how his love story began with Deepika Padukone just after the end of his long-term relationship on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8 has brought back attention to his rumoured relationship with Anushka Sharma. Anushka and Ranveer were rumoured to be dating each other in 2011 when they appeared together on Koffee With Karan season 3. Meanwhile, a video of Anushka explaining to Simi Garewal why she would never date Ranveer has also resurfaced on the internet.
In the clip, which has gone viral, Anushka told the chat show host and veteran actor, Simi Garewal that she never dated Ranveer. On being asked the reason, the Zero actor replied, “If you know Ranveer and me really well… if people get to know us really well, they realise that we’re very different people.”

Eventually, Anushka Sharma ended up marrying the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in 2017. She is now a mother of a daughter. Ranveer tied the knot with Deepika Padukone in 2018.
