Recovering from tricep surgery, Saif Ali Khan made his first post-op appearance, accompanied by wife Kareena Kapoor Khan. They were spotted leaving Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. Saif, addressing an old injury aggravated during an action sequence for his film, expressed gratitude for the surgical care. He emphasized the wear and tear inherent in their profession and thanked well-wishers.

Saif Ali Khan, recovering from tricep surgery, made his first post op public appearance on Tuesday, accompanied by wife Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor, recently hospitalized at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital, was looking hale and hearty. The couple was captured as they stepped out of the hospital.

Saif underwent tricep surgery to address an old injury aggravated during an action sequence for his latest film.The actor is progressing well, and is on the path to a swift recovery. Kareena, his wife, reportedly stood by his side during his hospitalization.

“This injury and the surgery that followed are part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands, and I thank all well-wishers for their love and concern,” he said in a statement.
In a conversation with Zoom, Saif shared that initially, he wasn’t fully aware of the severity of the injury. However, during an action sequence for ‘Devara,’ he experienced further discomfort. Despite initially feeling fine, the pain escalated over time. To address this, he underwent an MRI as the pain intensified, especially during more strenuous activities.

He shared that upon further examination, doctors discovered severe tearing of the tricep tendon, that was barely holding in place, and could just snap at any moment. Although a surgical intervention was imperative, it didn’t require immediate attention. The severity was fully realized during the procedure. Initially advised to delay surgery, Saif completed certain portions of ‘Devara,’ took a vacation, and subsequently underwent the essential surgery.
The actor will now recover at home for some time before returning to the sets.
