New Delhi: Actress Mannara Chopra is winning the hearts of television lovers with her charm on Bigg Boss season 17. The 32-year-old star is leaving no stone unturned to raise the entertainment quotient of the controversial reality series and has turned out to be one of the most-talk-about contestants of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s show.

During a recent episode of Bigg Boss 17, her co-contestant Abhishek Kumar was seen triggering her by referring to her as ‘duplicate Parineeti’. Outraged by this behaviour, Mannara threw a pillow at him and their fight escalated further. The spat was discussed by Salman on Shukravaar Ka Vaar.

It is to be noted that Mannara is the paternal cousin of actresses Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. Earlier, it was believed that there was a rift between them. But, Mannara cleared the air by saying all is well between the Chopra sisters.

Amid all such talks, an old video that dates back to 2014, has resurfaced online. In the short clip, Parineeti – who was well established in the entertainment industry at that time – answered a question by the media about ‘competition’ with Mannara, who was about to make her debut in Bollywood.

Question: Do you think Mannara can emerge as a tough competition for you in the future?
Answer: We have grown up in the same pram. We have, I think, only a year or two between us. So, no. It is time that everybody stops comparing me to my sisters in a negative way. We only have love for each other and nothing else. So, never. I hope she does very well.
