One of the biggest heartthrobs of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan’s personal life has been nothing less than a rollercoaster ride!

Hrithik Roshan is one such name in the Hindi film industry that accounts for truckloads of handsomeness quotient, terrific dance moves and a fit  body.

But, apart from these, what also comes to mind with the very name of the actor is his rocky love life, which has seen quite a few ups and downs and even was threadbare to a near scandal situation because of it. Well then, let’s look at some relationships in his love life that were enough to stir the media in no time.

#1. Hrithik Roshan’s marriage with Sussanne Khan

Hrithik Roshan was perhaps the only actor who made his grand Bollywood debut after getting married. Well, Hrithik’s unforgettable debut, Kaho Na Pyar Hai released in the year 2000, which was the same year he tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart, Sussanne Khan, who was the daughter of yesteryear actor, Sanjay Khan.

The couple was blessed with two sons, Hrehaan (2006) and Hridaan (2008). However, after enjoying a marital bliss of almost 13 years, the couple decided to split amicably and were granted divorce in 2014. Moreover, the couple had also decided to co-parent their kids, and the duo has always been spotted fulfilling parental duties no matter what.

#2. Hrithik’s casual fling with Kareena Kapoor

An actor’s life always comes with the frequent tags associated with rumoured romantic relations with their co-stars. Such was the case with Hrithik and his Yaadein ­co-star, Kareena Kapoor. The duo worked in many films after that, and it was during the shooting of the cult film, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon that the duo was reported to be in a serious relationship.

Interestingly, Kareena was the first choice of the leading lady opposite Hrithik in his debut film, Kaho Na Pyar Hai, and had even shot a scene. But the script was not liked by her mother, Babita, and she refused her daughter to take part in it. Coming back to the speculated relationship between Hrithik and Kareena, the duo, unfortunately, broke up.

#3. Hrithik’s affair with Barbara Mori that affected his marriage

Hrithik hit the headlines again when it was speculated that he was head-over-heels in love with his Kites co-star and Mexican actress, Barbara Mori. Their affair was so serious that it reportedly shook the foundation of his marital life with Sussanne.

While both Hrithik and Barbara were tight-lipped about the same, their ongoing chemistry proves a different story altogether. It was also reported that this affair also led Sussanne to move out of their house and live separately. Nevertheless, the couple unexpectedly broke up and parted ways.

#4. Hrithik and Kangana Ranaut’s near-scandalous relationship

Kangana and Hrithik came together for the first time with their film, Kites. While initially, Hrithik was reportedly in a relationship with Barbara Mori, nevertheless, it also paved the way for yet another of his affair that would lead to a lot of scandal and buzz.

The duo got romantically inclined towards each other post-Hrithik and Barbara’s breakup and intensified when they came together for another film, Krrish 3. While obviously, their visible chemistry attracted eyeballs, it became all the more serious when it was reported that Hrithik wished to divorce Sussanne and marry Kangana.

However, the duo broke up unexpectedly without any reason. It was much later, after Hrithik and Kangana’s splitsville that things turned ugly in 2016 when Hrithik Roshan filed a lawsuit against Kangana for allegedly cyberstalking and harassing him and further rubbished all reports about their affair.

Kangana, too, responded with a counter-charge and claimed that the actor had used and rejected her, and that his lawsuit was a meek attempt at covering up his extra-marital affair with her at the brink of his failing marriage.

#5. Hrithik and Katrina Kaif’s friend-zoned relationship

Up next, Hrithik was again speculated to be in a relationship with his Bang Bang co-star, Katrina Kaif, in 2014. Several questionable pictures of the duo enjoying special moments together during their film’s shoot raised many eyebrows about the nature of their so-called friendship. However, while the duo never accepted such news, they later clarified that their bonding was nothing more than just the best of friendship.

#6. Hrithik Roshan’s current girlfriend, Saba Azad

Fast forward to this day, Hrithik Roshan has been dating popular television and film actress, Saba Azad. While nearly no one can trace the beginning of their relationship, nevertheless, the duo has been spotted together quite a few times, and more recently, they made their relationship official by often accompanying one another on public events. In addition, another recent report also highlighted that both Saba and Hrithik are considering marriage quite soon.
