Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has given several memorable performances but her stylish, eccentric role of Poo aka Pooja from 2001 film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is etched in the memory of her fans. Two decades later, she has recreated the character for an endorsement, much to the joy of her fans.

In the latest commercial for the travel website goibibo, Kareena is reenacting the scene from the film, where she is selecting the perfect partner to go to prom with. In the advertisement, instead of boys, she is rating hotel rooms.

The caption for the Instagram post was also written creatively as it said, “How it started: #goibibo.How it’s going: #goibebo. Introducing our newest brand ambassador, Bebo.”

As expected, Kareena’s fans were overjoyed seeing her in the character after so many years. A fan commented, “Couldn’t have been any better Go”, while another one wrote, “Such a creative ad”. A fan expressed their joy and wrote, poo returns like never before!” while another complimented the brilliant idea and wrote, “Genius marketing”.

In an interaction during Express Adda, the actor was asked, who would she like to see as Poo if the casting of K3G was done in today’s time. Kareena said, “No one. No one can do Poo better. So me again. Do we really have to recast this iconic movie? I don’t think anyone can match up to those characters.”

In the Karan Johar directorial, Kareena’s character Pooja Sharma was the younger sister of Anjali (played by Kajol) and the love interest of Rohan (played by Hrithik Roshan).

The actor recently made her digital debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan. Next, she will be seen in Hansal Mehta’s murder mystery and Rhea Kapoor’s production The Crew, in which she shares the screen with Kriti Sanon and Tabu. Kareena also recently announced that she has commenced the shoot for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again in Hyderabad.
