Mommy Of 2, Kareena Kapoor Shares Parenting Hacks, Reveals Once She Left Son, Taimur Alone At Home

Kareena Kapoor Khan is a fabulous working mother. She is all set to make her debut as a producer with Hansal Mehta’s next film. Bebo is not only a stunning actress, but also a responsible mommy of two. Despite getting attractive movie offers, the diva rejects them to spend some extra time with her family. And in a recent interview, Kareena Kapoor opened up about the same.

For the unversed, she had married the Nawab of Pataudi and a once-married man, Saif Ali Khan, on October 16, 2012. Fast forward to now, they are proud parents to two little munchkins, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.

In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Kareena Kapoor Khan stated that her family, her hubby, Saif and their kids, Taimur and Jeh are her priority. Bebo also narrated an incident when she took a flight for Hansal Mehta’s shoot and felt knots in her stomach because she left Taimur alone at home with his father. In her words:

“My priority is definitely my family- my children, my husband, parents, sister- they are everything to me. My children need me, I know that. In two days I’m leaving for Hansal’s shoot. There’s already a knot-like feeling in my stomach because I have to go and I’m gonna leave Taimur back with Saif.”

In the same conversation, Kareena revealed her and Saif’s parenting styles. She shared how they take turns and look after their children on an alternative basis. Kareena can be quoted as saying:

“One parent is always there. Saif finished Adipurush and now it’s time for me to work. We keep taking turns. But I know it’s still difficult. It’s the hardest thing to do.”

For Kareena, sacrificing a few good movies is worth it because, at the end of the day, she has memories of spending quality time with her family. Reflecting on how her children, Tim Tim and Jeh, are more important to her than being the highest-paid actress in Bollywood, Kareena said:

“So I’m always tempted like I should do one more film if the offer or the role is too good. But it’s okay if I have to sacrifice a few good films or scripts because it’s worth it. Because then I can spend time with my children, which is my priority.”
