Richa Chadha talks about her dream film with Ali Fazal and Kareena Kapoor.

What would Jab We Met look like with a married actor couple headlining it? Richa Chadha would know. The actor has revealed that she would love to do a Jab We Met with her actor husband Ali Fazal.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the 2007 romantic comedy starred Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. During an interview with ABP News, Richa was shown cue cards with names of actors written on it. She had to reply with a film she would want to star in with them.

When the host took out a card which had the name Ali Fazal, Richa said, “Jab We Met,” as the audience clapped and cheered at her answer. Richa and Ali fell in love while working in the Fukrey franchise– which is also the only movie universe that they are a part of.

In the next slide, the name of Kareena Kapoor showed up. Richa then said, “Thelma & Louise. I would love to do that film with her. If you have not seen it, please do. It is a classic.”

The 1991 American drama road movie starred Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis.  Thelma & Louise is considered a classic. Richa and Kareeana have so far not shared screen space.

On the work front, Richa Chadha was recently seen in Fukrey 3, which emerged a box office hit, meanwhile Ali Fazal also earned acclaimed with his performance in Khufiya.

While talking to ABP Live, the actresss opened up on a lot of facets in her career. During her interaction with the media on the show, an individual presented placards featuring the names of film stars and characters.

She was tasked with choosing a movie she would like to do with each. First in line wasVarun Sharma, and she expressed her interest in collaborating on a news show titled ‘Zaika India Ka.’

Following that, the spotlight shifted to Kareena Kapoor Khan. With her, Richa envisioned a joint venture in a classic English film named ‘Thelma & Louise.’

Moving forward, the actress from Fukrey 3 expressed her desire to work on Kick 2 alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Lastly, husband Ali Fazal’s name entered the conversation. After a brief pause, she revealed her choice: ‘Jab We Met.’

The audience responded with an appreciative ‘awww,’ applauding her selection. Concluding the list, she mentioned that, embodying her bold character Bholi Punjaban, she would opt for a film aptly titled ‘Aatank Hi Aatank.’

While on Richa and Ali, the actress recently took to her IG handle to slam insecurity that people think engulfs her marriage since her husband Ali Fazal is good looking.

Sharing a pic in festive wear, the Fukrey actor wrote, ‘I recently got asked by a drunk woman at a party if I am insecure because my husband is good looking… watch the last picture here to see, how he takes care of me… and also, drunk woman, thank you for reminding me that women can be misogynistic too!’

The actor, who is known to speak her mind, recently weighed in on the matter of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan facing online trolling. During a conversation with Jist, the ‘Fukrey 3’ actress shared her views on the subject and praised Aishwarya’s grace in handling such criticism.
