Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan show support to Palestine following Israel’s Rafah airstrike

As the fight between Israel and Hamas shows no signs of ending, Bollywood celebs have now weighed in on the issue. Several A-listers have expressed solidarity with Palestine, following Israel’s strike in the southern Gaza city of Rafah. Among them are Bollywood and Hollywood actresses, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Alia Bhatt. Actors Varun Dhawan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have also shared messages supporting Palestine.

The phrase ‘All Eyes on Rafah’ is currently trending on the Internet. It went viral following Israel’s airstrike, which burnt a refugee camp in Rafah, accounting for the death of over 40 civilians, including children. The Sunday airstrike also left dozens injured, as per reports.

Now, Indian celebs are taking to social media to show solidarity with Palestine. Chopra Jonas, who is also a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, showed support by sharing a post as her Instagram Story. Bhatt also did the same.

Several others, including Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Gauhar Khan, Aly Goni, have also shared stories or post supporting Palestine.

Meanwhile, Chopra Jonas and Bhatt’s support for Palestine comes weeks after they were added on the trending ‘Blockout 2024 List‘ by a pro-Palestine group, for failing to show support to Gaza and criticise Israel’s actions. The duo was featured alongside dozens of other global celebs, including top actors, entertainers and athletes.
