Salman Khan is a huge Bollywood superstar who is not only known for his stardom but also for his weird habits, swag, and dabang attitude. He has inspired many young actors and even trained a few of them including Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. Even the likes of Ranveer Singh who technically is not from Bollywood has been inspired by Sallu Bhai and on many occasions has even revealed the same.

However, when Ranveer Singh said that he had been inspired by Salman Khan to sleep in the vanity van, Karan Johar slammed him outright. The two were discussing the habits of the Gully Boy actor on one of his episodes of Koffee with Karan which also has Alia Bhatt sharing the guest couch.

When Karan Johar asked Ranveer, “During the shooting schedule what’s the one demand of yours that can be considered a starry tantrum?” In reply, the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor said, “Sometimes I ask for the generator to remain on overnight because I sleep in the van.”

Karan interrupted saying, “You sleep in the van because you do not want to be late for the shoot the next day or you do not want to catch up that extra hour and you want to save time.” Ranveer replied in affirmation saying, “Morning is not my time of the day. I’m nocturnal. I’m a night bird. I cannot sleep at night and I struggle to wake up in the morning.”

Ranveer added, “And if I am one hour away from set then that one hour in the morning is just pure anxiety because I have woken up late and then they are like Choudhary is calling, Karan is calling, Alia is already on the set and I go pop, pop, pop. Instead, I would much rather just sleep in the van because that is like Salman Bhai’s style. It is like I’m sleeping in the van, there is nothing to worry about.”

At this point, Karan Johar interrupted the Bollywood actor saying, “Did you get it from Salman? Borrowed tradition?” However, Ranveer Singh was in no mood to slow down and said, “Like sleeping the van is super convenient. It is the idea that I got from him. Making a gym van I got that from Ajay Sir.”

Instead of appreciating these things, Karan said, “You are sponging from the superstars.” Superstars and their vanity vans have been the prime discussion on social media platforms since Akshay Kumar said that he has a van equipped with a kitchen when he is shooting.

Similarly, a few days ago Farah Khan revealed that nowadays stars have four vanity vans and they do not start work until the vans are functional.
